If you know the mechanics of some skills, it will help you get some advantage over your opponent in the game. Next I`ll write some useful information about the heroes` skills, which, if you know it, will help you play much better.
Tiny. If you toss your enemy and while he”s in the air to do our stan on him, the stan will deal double damage. Tossing damage increases with the level of your ulta. Tossing does damage to buildings.
Ursa paired with almost any hero can take out roshan at 1st level.
Beastmaster. His stun will work even if the enemy hero is immune to magic, like if he used Black King Bar, but it won`t deal any damage, though the stan will work. It`s also good to know that his viola deals area damage and slows down everyone in the path of the viola for a few seconds.
Clockwerk. He can break his own barrels to get out of them. If any of his allies get in the way, the hook won`t work, but if Aghanim”s Scepter is gathered, the hero will be drawn to an ally.
Huskar. If you turn on Black King Bar before the ulta, you won`t deal any damage to yourself.
Antimage. Blink allows you to dodge some of your target skins. Burning mana on impact also works on illusions. The ult doesn`t deal damage to a single target, but in a small area.
Morphling. If you`re running away from an opponent and you`re low on line, you can turn on a power roll to restore your health on the run to a safe level. By collecting Ethereal Blade, you can deal very serious magical damage to your opponent.
Drow Ranger. If you gather Manta Style, Drow Ranger`s illusions will be stronger than others due to the extra dexterity it gives, because it improves illusions as well.
Lone Druid. You can collect Hand of Midas for yourself and your bear and enjoy amazing farming.
Bloodseeker. Your illusions from Manta Style are also affected by all passive skills, meaning they regenerate life from killing and run faster after wounded opponents. You can commit suicide by hanging Bloodrage on yourself, depriving the enemy of experience and money, and you can also finish off a teammate.
Venomancer. If you poisoned your enemy and he`s low on line, you can kill him with your own heroes, depriving you of frag and money. Plague Wards can easily wipe neutral creeps in big camps, and even kill Roshan.
Faceless void. Illusions from Manta Style and creeps that can be dominated by Helm of dominator can be fought under the dome of the ulta.
Axe. Axe can kill enemies even if they are immune to magic. It`s a good idea to use Blade mail in conjunction with Berserker`s Call. Also, Berserker`s Call can be used just for a big armor bonus, allowing you to survive a few extra hits while running away.
Tide hunter. Kraken Shell allows you to drop negative spells from time to time.
Lifestealer. Using the ult, you can get inside your hero with a blink or invisibility, then attack an unsuspecting enemy in two. It`s also possible to get away from pursuit. You can even use the ulta on a Beastmaster bird so that it can take your hero wherever you want.
Doom bringer. If an enemy who”s under your ult is low on health, they can be killed by your allies, ruining your frag and your money.
Lycanthrope. Lycanthrope: When you turn on your stalk, all creatures that belong to your hero, including nuke creeps and Necronomicon creeps, run as fast as they can in a dock and get an extra attack from Howl.
Spectre. Can run through any object in the path of the Spectral Dagger.
Weaver. Can cast any negative spells, like Gondar`s or Slardar`s ultrasound.
Crystal Maiden. If you cast Frost Bite on an enemy, it cannot move, but it still has the ability to cast spells. Frostbite lasts 10 seconds on creeps, making it easy to kill even strong camps of neutral creeps. If you apply Shadowblade after activating the ulta, the ulta will continue to work even from invisibility.
Puck. You can dodge enemy spells if you phase shift in time.
Storm Spirit. Ulta allows to dodge shots and spells, if you make it in time.
Windrunner. When using Windrunner you have a 100% chance to dodge physical attacks from creeps, heroes, or towers, and you can use this to save yourself and keep Naix from getting healed by Lifesteal while attacking you. You can use the arrow to punch your way through the thick of the forest. Your ult lasts 20 seconds before you attack another target, but you can run away and use other skills or items and then continue under the ult on the same target.
Zeus. Lighting Bolt and Ulta, manifest invisible heroes for 3 seconds.
Shadow Shaman. If you activate Shadow blade while using the mesh, the mesh will continue to work from invisibility. If you lift the enemy into the air with Eul`s Scepter and then make a utt in place of the hurricane, upon landing, the enemy is trapped in the snakes.
Tinker. Can be used to recharge not only skills but also objects, like Boots of Travel or Dagon, with his Ulta.
Pudge. If you`re being chased by the enemy and you know you can`t get away alive, you can burn yourself, depriving the enemy of experience and money. The ult pierces magic immunity, stopping the enemy, but without dealing damage. If you use Shadow blade after switching on the ulta the ulta will continue from invisibility.
Nature`s Prophet. If you put yourself in the trees and then teleport, the enemy will lose you from sight, allowing you to escape in peace.
Enchantress. Throwing a companion at the enemy with an ulta and then running away while it`s flying in the opposite direction of the shot deals bonus damage to the enemy.
Bane. If you use the Shadow blade after activating the ulta, the ulta will continue from invisibility. You can kill yourself or an ally with Nightmare, depriving the enemy of money and experience. If you make Brain Sap on a hero or creep, even with 1 HP, it will restore 300 HP anyway. The ult breaks immunity to magic, stopping the enemy, but without dealing damage.
Witch Doctor. If you use Shadowblade after turning on the ulta, the ulta will continue from invisibility. Parlyzing Cask also helps in killing neutral creeps, as it takes much longer to hit them with stan.
Enigma. If using the Shadow blade after switching on the Ulta, the Ulta will return from invisibility.
Warlock. If Shadowblade is used after switching Upheaval on, the Upheaval will continue from invisibility.
Queen of Pain. Blink allows you to dodge some spells if you do it in time.
Pugna. Decripify completely saves from Juggernaut`s Ulta and Tinker Missiles. If you use Refresher Orb, you can put two Nehter Ward”s, which both will work. If you use Shadowblade after turning on the ulta, the ulta will continue from invisibility.
Kunkka. If you use X marks the spot on teleporting or blinking heroes you`ll get them back even if they flew away to the fountain.
Leshrac. Diabolic Edict deals damage to buildings.
Ancient Apparition. His ulk prevents any regeneration and cures, even healing from skills and items. Cold feet even affects those knocked up with Eul`s Scepter.
Outworld Destroyer. Astral Imprisonment allows you to dodge some spells if done in time.
Shadow Demon. Disruption allows you to dodge some spells if done in time. It removes all positive damage from the enemy, such as Svens or Broodmother
s ult.
Sand King. Sand Storm allows you to dodge targeted spells if you turn the skill on in time. If you use Shadowblade after turning on the ulta, the ulta will continue from invisibility.
Spirit Breaker. If you cast a ult on an enemy with a blink or teleport you get, your character will follow even if the enemy has teleported back to his/her fountain.
Chen. If you use Test of Faith on an allied Pudge who hooks someone with a hook seconds before teleporting, the enemy will follow Pudge across the map right under the fountain.
Batrider. The Ulta works even on heroes with magic immunity.
